Mi-2

Description

The Mi-2 antibodies are detected almost exclusively in patients with Dermatomyositis (DM). Compared to Myositis patients who test positive for anti-aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase antibodies (such as jo-1, PL-7, PL-12,…), those positive for Mi-2 generally have a relatively mild clinical course, respond well to glucocorticosteroids and therefore tend to have a good prognosis.
