SSB antibodies target a multifunctional phosphoprotein SSB (La) which is involved in the termination of RNA polymerase III transcription. It forms a macromolecular complex with Ro/SSA antigens and with small uridine-rich RNA molecules. Anti-SSB antibodies are a diagnostic marker of Sjögren’s Syndrome. They are also associated to SLE (19-30 %).
Recombinant, human, expressed in Baculovirus-infected Sf9 cells (for more information on our antigens click here)
