The anti-tTransglutaminase antibodies are the biomarkers of Celiac Disease. The IgA autoantibodies are recognized as the most specific for Celiac Disease. However, it is reported that about 3% of Celiac suffers from IgA deficiency. That is the reason for the diagnosis of IgG autoantibodies.
